Kurzvideos aus deutschen Metropolregionen gesucht

Stefano Vosa ist einer der Projekt-Koordinatoren des Pariser Bürgerfestival. Die Organisatoren suchen derzeit Dokumentarfilmer, Bürger, Journalisten, Vlogger, Städteplaner […], die in „Megacities“ wie der Metropolregion Rhein-Ruhr leben und via Video über soziale Initiativen berichten, die das Leben der Bürger in der Region verbessern.

Einsendeschluss ist der 31. Juli 2017.

Für die Kurzdokumentationen gibt es zwei Wettbewerbskategorien:

▪ eine bis vier Minuten Länge (inklusive Abspann)

▪ kürzer als eine Minute (inklusive Abspann)

Es gibt auch etwas zu gewinnen, nämlich
▪ 1000  €  für den Preisträger der Kategorien “1  minute”,  “4  minutes”,  Student,
Public  Choice,  “Social  Impact”,  “Urban  Planning”,  “Civic  Tech”.
▪ Eine Reise nach Paris zum Citizen Film Festival für die 6 Finalisten
Hier die Vorgaben der Veranstalter:

Your  short  documentary  film  must:

▪ show  an  existing  initiative  with  a  solution  to  megacities’
challenges, a perspective of solutions o   r a specific u   rban challenge
that  hasn’t  been  highlighted  yet.

▪ include  at  least  one  of  the  three  following  categories:   social
impact  initiative ,   urban  planning  &  landscape  or   civic
tech/smart  cities  (details  in  MegaCities­ShortDocs  Terms  and
Conditions).

▪ take place inside the urban area of one of the existing m   egacities
(1  of  the  38  metropolitan  areas  of  more  than  10  M.  inhabitants)

▪ integrate  good  quality  subtitles  in  english.

CRITERIAS

▪ Quality  of  the  production  and  clarity  of  the  message
▪ Power  of  the  proposals  and  solutions  and  its  replicability

KEY  DATES

▪ 31st  of  July  2017,  midnight  Paris  time  (UTC+2):   deadline  to
submit  your  short  documentary.

▪ August  1st  to  August  31st  2017:   selection  process  for  the  15
nominees.

▪ Between  August  3rd  (midnight  Paris  time)  and  August  31st
(midnight  Paris  time)  2017:   online  public  vote.

▪ Between  mid­october  and  end  of  February  2018:   screenings
will occur in a chosen n   umber o   f m   egacities in the w   orld, after the
Award  Ceremony,  in  Paris,  at  the  “Forum  des  images”.
